Remember when the football was on? 08:35 - Sep 12 with 1072 viewsBondiBlue

I think i dislike international breaks even more than the off-season. At least during the off-season there's a chance of a "TWTD understands..."

The breaks are a bit dull but understandable due to international commitments.

I've not minded this one. Felt like a hectic start to the season where we did really well but flew by the seat of our pants a bit at times. I'm quite glad of the break, get some training and tactical work into the players and bed some of the newbies in a bit more and come back refreshed.

All well and good for the players but what about my need for constant stimulation dammit? No-one ever thinks of the fans.

As a big fan of egg chasing and cricket I've been lucky this year, had the entertainment of the Ashes through the summer and the Rugby world cup kicking off at the weekend to give me my sport fix. The next international break coincides with the Rugby World cup 1/4 finals too, so that's something.

I'll be pleased to see football back though, especially with a busy schedule ahead before that next break. 18 league points and a place in the last 16 of the cup to play for in a 21 day period. COYB.

Used to like rugby but gone off it in the last 15 or so years. I did watch a couple of games over the weekend (although not england). I did notice though that the next round of games this coming weekend are all mismatches (apart from england v japan at the end!) Not sure its goign to be too gripping..

Hate international breaks. I used to go to many England matches, but really couldn't give a rat's Arsenal anymore.

I only realised yesterday that England were playing Scotland tonight. Back in the day, that's all we'd be talking about for weeks. Today, meh...

International breaks are only slightly less dull than cricket and rugby, in my book...

I'm also quite glad of the break, been a bit nerve shredding so far.
