Watching it and have paused at 40:39 as have things to do. So been explaining to my partner who is new to football who Pat is, and how she is a thread through everything. She has watched the first 40 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed every word.
Until (I think) 2008 we were a club, at the centre of our community, where fans felt a part of it and proud to be a supporter of such a club. Whilst we now operate in a corporate world, and are owned by foreign investors, I believe that sense of belonging, being a part of Everything, of being a member of the club has returned. I don’t feel that I am being rinsed of every shilling when I go to the ground. Our legends are honoured. Our history is cherished. Our community is valued.

Yasmin had a lovely little chat with her afterwards, and cheekily told her she’d been a part of the club longer than Pat had, as she has been for her whole life, with a season ticket since she was 4 days old.. Pat smiled and said she hopes yasmin enjoys it as much as she always has done.
She's an absolute legend. Name the fanzone after her, because she's the Queen Mother of Ipswich Town and deserves the recognition for her life's service!
