What a shambles !!! 21:49 - Oct 20 with 2148 viewseddiespearitt03

5pm ...match off....Yeah .....stupid idea to state there are no concerns from Rotherham FC...All that time on the only coach that went......traffic jams and roadworks ....from 1pm to 8.30pm ....fans on that coach should get an EXTRA £20 bonus for a wasted day...!!!

It’s been good for us on here though. Given us a bit of excitement and plenty of material 👍

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Is everything in life just one big joke for you? What's funny about a town fan spending 7 hours on a bus to nowhere? It's not as funny as some of your other recent light-hearted takes though.

Honestly tho.
Part of me is gutted for anyone that went.

But then.. with stations being closed due to flooding. Continuous rain. More flooding.. why would you then decide to go anyway..

I disagree with the Rotherham statement made earlier thus afternoon. But no one forced anyone to leave or rotherham, that's a personal decision which as I say seems a bit daft when you consider everything

Imagine wanting to watch your team play. You should try it sometime. You could take Badger.

If you had bought match tickets and coach tickets ,, organised time off work a week or 2 ago .. there was no way to know the weather was going to cancel the game !

Appropriate compensation must be considered

I was going to be watching it ta. Like all games this season.

I get your point. However it was on tele. I don't really get why anyone would take risks when it's on the box IF it was on.

I'm not heartless so I do feel for people. But not those who risked it then took to social media to gripe at the clubs, ask for refunds etc. It was always one that was 99% off.

Given the statements from the club we thought it would be on. Haven taken leave took the risk as if it wasn't wasnt would lose out of the game.
the fault lies with the lack of inability for key players to take a joined up approach on the situation and work together - oh, and Rovrum need to look at the social media messages they send out

Well because Rotherham said the game wasn’t in doubt. They should’ve called it off at 11am, they knew the forecast and they would’ve known the likely hood of the river bursting its banks.

Like I said before “would rather be here with the game off than at home with the game on"

So you would rather watch a game on the television than be there cheering on your team?

Get back to your armchair!

Spent plenty years watching live. And have done when nothing else planned yes.

But yeah modern world has enabled me to follow town every week without the need to travel. Happy days.

The game against Leicester when it snowed should've been called off, but because of Sky it remained. All the signs were there yesterday for it to be called off, but you simply can't trust Sky to make a logical decision. As Sitters says, I would've rather been there and it called off, than watch on the TV, where it's a completely different perspective.

Poll: What will be announced first?
