Burgess.... 08:07 - Oct 26 with 1152 views | norfsufblue | Absolute monster defender.... and that left peg is suddenly beginning to look like the one that belonged to Mark Venus! Candidate for most improved player from last year amongst quite a large pool.

Thought the same, everyone expecting little 5yard passes then bang! 60yard dart to KJ on the wing Every single player has improved under KM, meaning their value has too gone up. Proper club these days

Although Accrington did know how good he was (Rolls-Royce of a defender their commentators said when we played them). I think a few too many took him at face value as a big, old-fashioned defender from an unfancied League One outfit. So while playing in McKenna’s team has certainly helped show what he can do with the ball, I think we’ve been getting a truer picture of him as a player by dint of actually seeing him play.

I remember when he was first having his run of games in the squad and we still saw him as the "less able" on the ball, he actually gave an interview about how we're now playing the sort of football he likes. I remember I slightly scoffed at the time - this is big Cam, solid as a rock but hardly a ball player - but he's proven me, and probably lots of others, wrong. [Post edited 26 Oct 2023 10:19]

Burgess.... on 10:06 - Oct 26 with 791 views | Wickets | I must agree he has improved since being under KM and his team of coaches but the first think i noticed about him was his determination to be a success . Think we got beat in his first home game or early on in his Town career and i noticed how pissed off he was and i really liked that the loss hurt !
