If both teams are playing at their absolute best with no injuries then it’s not a straight forward answer. McGoldrick and Murphy were on fire that season - their movement was immense and I think that their football intelligence would be a real threat to the present team. At times Berra was almost rock like.
What this team has in its favour is a much more dynamic midfield. Was it Skuse and Bru in the middle? I think that would both struggle to get a foothold against Luongo and Morsy. Plus KM is a far better tactician than what MM ever was. I think that an intelligent manager, with good players, will nearly always come out victorious over a MM side with players of the same division. |  | | |

Our current attack would, with constant attacks, ultimately beat Berra in the end. He was good, but getting it on the floor around him and it was a different story.
Our current midfield would dominate MMs one.
Maybe I was a bit unfair on Murphy…
