I quite liked him, but struggled to stay fit.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Won an excellent header for Derbys goal and showed his defensive side as well.

Cats cousin is a good option...if can stay fit.

Ade Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...

Plus the advantage that he already knows the club and McKenna's approach.

It's the big if. Reason would only take him if in addition to another. Him and Gallagher would be a risk given injuries. JJ has been fit a little while now and starting games again for Derby.

Not done loads in this game but was a good flick (he has good attributes: size , skill and Speed.

He won the ball in his own hand to release Mendez-Laing.

No scoring chances granted. He's got a good mix of guile and ability.

So people think Jackson and Ladapo aren't up to it but an OK League 1 player (currently) is?

I would hope our sights are a lot higher than him.....

This is such an odd take. He's 22 and clearly bags of talent and has a much higher ceiling than League one if he can stay fit.

I'm not sure the point you are making that since you could have said the same thing about nearly our entire squad at season....

As mentioned the consideration would be more a 'one for the future' but who can contribute in the here and now as well (In addition to a 'main man' signing).

Like everyone it's a difficult market and there will be compromises.

Like Scarlett, he looked better as a 10 than an out and out striker. That and his injury record is a no from me.

I liked him when he was with us, but we’ve moved on. I suspect KM would have brought him in during the summer if he was as keen.

I'd definitely mark it under 'unlikely'.

Harper came on for Burton. Wasn't able to make a block for Derby winning goal. Can't get a start for Burton. Really is wasting his career. A lot of ability just lacks drive.

Surely we need someone for now, not the future. he clearly is not a top championship player?

He's 22, not played 1 game for Arsenal. Most of his games have been in League 1. I'm not sure what is odd?

Personally I don't think he's better than what we have already.

I'd be happy with Jules coming in. Can cover a few positions, has pace and can finish.
