Apparently David Ornstein had confirmed he's expected to leave Bournemouth on loan and it's between us , Cardiff and Sunderland. Could be a good, experienced head for Al-Hamadi and chip in with some contribution of his own. Not sure how true his availability is though...

It’s just the same as what he said a couple of weeks ago.

Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore is expected to join Sunderland, Cardiff or Ipswich on loan after they all made offers for the 31-year-old.

Presumably he is the Plan B, if we can't get Sam Gallagher done

Kind of odd that we plucked Kieffer Moore from non-league, aged 24, never really gave him a chance & subsequently he's scored goals pretty much everywhere he's been. However, we did get about £800k from Barnsley for him.

He’s done fabulously well for himself. I still see him as a Mcarthy type. Which is fine if you play that way, but we don’t. However, he does have an intelligence /game understanding about him that could serve us well if he signs. Just don’t expect him to replicate Hirst’s pressing and energy. A slightly different skill set but one I think could be an asset.

I wasn't very keen on us getting Moore at the start of the window but now Al-Hamadi is through the door it makes a bit more sense. A nice blend of youth and experience, both with different types of physical strengths - Moore being able to do the hold up play and aerial stuff and Al-Hamadi with better mobility and pressing.

I would say that Moore is a contingency for Gallagher falling through or a plan B if finances dictate we cant buy Gallagher and a new FB

I'd imagine Moore isn't going to move until the last knockings of deadline day - to whoever panics the most and offers Bournemouth the biggest loan fee. So that one will be on the table come the start of Thursday.
