Fan Emergency 16:41 - May 5 with 1280 viewsPaddy39

One of our fellow blues had a cardiac arrest in the Sir Bobby Robson upper tier yesterday afternoon at the start of the 2nd half. He was seated five seats from my wife and I. Does anyone have any information on how that person is getting on. I would like to thank the doctor that sits next to me for springing into action and and a special mention to steward Ian Roberts who handled the situation well keeping the stairs clear for other medical personnel.

Would also like to hear the news. Could see it clearly from J block and was horrible. Really hope they're okay.

SBRU Upper incident just after HT… by textbackup 5 May 2024 10:35
The steward on the stairs (who we speak to regularly) told me that they’d got a pulse once he was moved to the concourse for treatment.

As posted earlier, a massive shout, and free season tickets for life, should go to the bloke who jumped over from the disable section to give CPR. Potentially/hopefully saved his life
