Absolutely dodgy as hell, of course, but all this "if it was Man City" nonsense needs to stop.
"If this was Man City," we'd quietly ignore it for as long as possible, until at LEAST a decade in the future, at which point they'd grown their fanbase a million times over, revamped their ground, training facilities etc and won multiple titles and we still won't have actually done anything about it.
