Then we'd win the Euros at a canter.

Georgia have been fantastic and a real joy to watch. If we open up and really play our football, we can put on a show like them. Take the lead off and let them run free.

That side wins these Euros.

I’d leave Kane on the bench and bring in Watkins, but basically would go with your line up.

Georgia and one or two others: such pride and commitment. Add in good management and everyone clear on what their job is and you have a real chance.

Sadly, I don’t think Southgate has a clue. He’s almost a passenger, looks confused and utterly outmoded. He also has a group of players who look miserable and I cynically suspect most of them can’t wait to hit the sun beds.

Depends how you define work rate. England have covered a far greater distance in their group games than Georgia, for example, so Southgate's men are working hard:

- Georgia - 225km - https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/teams/57157--georgia/statistics/
- England - 336km - https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/teams/39--england/

Isn't it just more about character/desire/team spirit and that stuff, along with clearly understanding their roles?

yeah I'd go with Watkins too.
The difference between watching us and England is a gulf, they do not seem to know their plan and are not coached in the right way to set out to win. It's so frustrating as we now have a decent route to the Final and individually are stacked with talent.
