Morsy's all round stats there looks excellent. A hard tackling grafter, who also likes to play progressively when he can.

I'm starting to think we're going to be in amongst the Europe spots now lol.

Going to be fascinating to see how Morsy gets on this season… on 15:47 - Jun 27 with 867 viewsunstableblue

Will his tenacity, shielding and aggression make him effective at the higher level… or will his age, pace and skills mean he falls short?

I think he’ll start against Liverpool and captain the side, but it’s not certain he’ll be a starter throughout the season. All dependent on who is brought in over the transfer window.

Liverpool were 4-3-3 and attack minded.. with Elliot, Endo and McAllister the midfield trio.

I think Morsy will have to adapt his game very slightly and move the ball quickly slightly more often than he did in the lower leagues, just because the speed and athleticism of the players we'll be playing will make it harder for him to turn out of tight spaces or shield the ball in dangerous areas. He'll still be able to do it but might have to mix things up a little so he doesn't get predictable. He got caught occasionally in the Championship and it'll be even harder in the Prem.
