I would imagine the conversation was along the lines of asking KMcK where he thought he needed to strengthen and what was the priority from his wish list alng the lines of Must Have, Good to Have, Nice to have or some such language.
They would then have worked out the estimated costs and with Ashton backing him started to work on it, to continue the development of the club.
I would be very surprised if Ashton said here is XX Million off you go, seems much more of a strategic approach of working out the priorities and closing them out first. |  | | |
