Watched it last night and feeling a bit short changed, TBH
One of my favourite books and a decent original film adaptation but this one's a bit rushed and a google tells me that Warner Bros took large chunks out of it and had over an hours worth of story binned.
The slow build of the book and the final realisation that something is amiss is lost with the use of the V word V early. Solid effort and King himself was happy with the final cut but a bit lacking in both depth and charm for this massive SK fan. |  |

I thought Dr Sleep was a decent effort and maybe the latest IT releases but something gets lost in translation when it comes to films.. | |

Recently rewatched the 1979 screenplay in anticipation, which while it shows it's age, is decent and faithful to the book.
Got 10 minutes into the new one and turned it off. |  |
