Major injury issues now, does it change expectations of next game? 15:39 - Oct 27 with 1018 viewsunstableblue

Interesting to hear Phil give a detailed view of the current injuries (on TWTV below), and he agrees with his co-writer that the Brentford line-up had only 4 of our preferred 11.

I guess Muric, Davis, OShea, Phillips and Szmodics.

We now have injuries to Greaves, Ogbene, Axel, Johnson, Morsy, Taylor, Luongo, and Harry Clarke is suspended. Omari illness and Morsy sound like they’ll be back for Leicester.

It’s a proper injury ‘crisis’ now isn’t it? And maybe fans need to give the team some leeway and increase the support. Is a draw against Leicester now acceptable??

I’m taking some positives from Brentford in terms of central midfield, Burgess, creating goals. I do think Hutchinson needs to play right as Burns is not at his best currently.

Team for Leicester

Muric
OShea Woolfie Burgess Davis
Hutchinson Chaplin Szmodics
Delap

With Broadhead and Clarke to come on to give more energy in attack

9 players when we give away 4 goals a game with 11?

Sounds suicidal.

No. We need to start winning games

Every club has injury problems. Why have we had ours.

One or two normal. 3 or 4 unlucky. More than that you question the intensity of your training.

It's leicester next

By fulltime we'd have played a few games you'd hope for wins from. We don't win sat.. it's another week of well when can we actually win a game.

We did very well with injuries last season in a busier season albeit less international call ups

I think fate is catching up with us a little bit I fear

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

It's an interesting situation.

When Andy rolls joined. I looked up previous thoughts about his time at arsenal and they weren't very complimentary about the medical performances and the amount of injuries they had especially hamstrings.

So it was nice to see it didn't have a massive effect on us in a too negative way..

But then you get back to the level he came from and suddenly we start to have the same issues.

Now. That's not down to an individual of course... but what are we not doing that we could be to minimise the injuries at this level..
