If people are angry over dubious reffing decisions costing us points, rather than being outclassed or lacking sufficient quality.

It's also a sense of frustration isn't it? If we take our chances and are two or three goals to the good, the penalty incident doesn't really have the impact on the game, even if the sending off does.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Also offers encouragement that a team such as Leicester can be on 10 points but aren’t particularly impressive (aside from Fatawu who was excllent). I think there’s more to come from our squad. The last two performances have given plenty of hope.

Agree with yoj. I thought Leicester looked bang average yesterday - at best!
They needed us to go down to 10 mrn, and to fuind space on their team coach after the game for the 3 match officials, and the entire VAR " officials" team.

Not only that but a team who were comfortably better than us for the majority of both matches against us last season.

Yes, this is what I thought too about yesterday’s performance. We played better yesterday against them than both games last season

I thought they were much the better side for the first 15 mins or so, but once we got to grips with them, we were the better team - or made them look very ordinary - until the ref decided to help them out of course.

Think both Southampton and Leicester looked poorer against us than in last season's matches.

What a ridiculous post.

We played out of our skins yesterday. To be fair to them though they created more clear cut chances. Their defence was better than ours. We completely outplayed them in midfield and that was mainly due to Philips who was brilliant until he got sent off.
