3 days off now. First Boxing Day I’ve had off in 6 years.
Am doing a few hours extra tonight overnight to finish my prep for boxing days antepost positions but having just got home, I feel like my Christmas break starts now.

The bet though is Connie double with Lossie for the Mares Hurdle. Because if she’s beaten here with everything in her favour, there’s no chance she takes on Connie again at Cheltenham. Instead she goes to the Mares Hurdle where she’d be a 2/5 poke. The related double is 14/1 best price.
I do however think she will beat Connie who may well have had to run to his best to give her weight anyway. Which is obviously far less likely after a year off the track AND having had Colic. | |

Nice to see Constitution Hill back to somewhere near his best, jumped as effortlessly as ever. Might've been a little far for Lossie as she's used to further these days, looked outpaced early on. I left it alone as was not sure how Connie would be |  | | |
