Gone PL to non-league but clearly were a 2nd tier club for most of that period before nose-diving into non-league

Oldham fans did something very bad in a previous life.

While we were being tedious in the Championship for the best part of two decades, Oldham were somehow being even more tedious in L1. It was a long-running battle for who could be the least interesting and then they blinked one season before we did. Since then they've done the inverse of us pretty much. One promotion in fifty years!
