Nah, played on as is their right. He was conscious and breathing, and a delay most likely won't have worsened the injury.
If there was any major risk, the referee could always have stopped play. Or, if the Everton players were *that* bothered, they could always have committed a tactical foul. |  |

Yeah course they can play on, but in the interests of sportsmanship etc, probably should've put it out. Hardly a high stakes game where they're desperate for a goal or something. | | | |

Looks like a season ender to me. Something major has gone the way he instantly grimaced. His reaction looks like he knows. Holding calf but wonder if it's the Achilles snapped by how it instantly went and he was in agony

If players only went/stayed down when they were actually injured, I'm sure opposition players would be more inclined to do the sporting thing. | |
