To take a tin foil FA cup to the game? 5th round? I’ve got a soon to be empty weetabix box in the cupboard and it’ll make a lovely template.

Any FA Cup game!

Saw a good effort in the Fanzone today.

Personally think it’s best to keep one’s powder dry until the quarter finals.

At that stage, the first airing of ‘We’re on our to Wembley’ can also make an appearance, especially since the semi finals are now played there.

I’ve already earmarked a Christmas delivery Amazon box for a dimensionally spot-on, full size beauty that I shall adorn in Bacofoil, shiny side up, as opposed to that dull, flimsy crap my wife’s insisted on getting from Lidl recently.

Grand-daughter’s quite excited by the preliminary sketches. If fat Frank spoils her dreams in a couple of weeks, she won’t be happy.

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Personally I would say never, but just my view. About as acceptable as people with signs asking for players shirts

Signs are only acceptable:

- at the London Marathon
- to indicate a golf sale

I know that was then, but it could be again..
Poll: At present who do you think you'll vote for?

Never had a sign for me at my several London marathons - must try harder

One bonus of a lower league opponent in the Cup - no half and half scarfs

Funnily enough, on our way to Saturday lunch yesterday, wife and I saw a sign on a lamppost in Brizzle.

I was refused permission to tear the bit off with the date and venue, despite my reasoning that it would exclude time wasters, because proper psychics would just know where and when.

Bizarrely, half n half scarfs were being sold. Saw several "vendors" trying sell at £10 each before kick off

I think it depends on who you are playing and what round you are in. 5th round seems about right for us, but it does depend on the opposition for me.
