Not worth getting too worked up by that 18:51 - Jan 19 with 779 viewsDubtractor

It was a punishing afternoon, men against boys, and the difference in quality of player between the two teams was vast. I did fear a pumping today, and that's what we got.

Games like today, against teams like City, will not define the season.

Just need to get the Liverpool game out of the way, then attack the rest of the season and see where we end up.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Agreed. Not wrong to hope for better but there has to be some realism. Staying up is hard. Competing with one of the best teams in the world is even harder.

Truly impaired.

Agreed but we were poor and gifted them so much.
2 deflections on the goals didn't help

Always felt like a game where, if they scored first, we would come undone and unfortunately that's what happened.

Up until that point it really was a very equal game and I was quite proud of how we were playing.

Onto the next one!

Letting the third one in before half time was the killer.

I agree....however... the concern for me like Thursday as soon as that first goal went it the players heads went down.
Not seen that all season, until the Brighton game. Burnley did the same last season, where the defeats/ conceding goals broke the players' confidence with approx 3rd of the season left. Hope KM can correct that.
