It’s interesting that the court raised his accessing of Andrew Tates material as part of the case. His influence has been raising its head amongst teenage boys for a while, but since he became more famous/infamous you can see a change in behaviour and attitude - we’ve even had parents reporting their sons are watching him and their behaviour has changed when ringing up about an issue.
While there’s a litany of issues and tragedy in that story, I do wonder if violence towards women and others is becoming more acceptable or just highlighted differently.
Tate really is a piece of sh1t and is sad that he seems to evade justice thus far.
If they can get a conviction (Romania, UK or USA) where law enforcement are investigating it would be a powerful message to people about him and what he represents.
(Now former) schoolteacher friend of mine said her female pupils were genuinely in fear at some of the things boys had been coming out with, all directly influenced by Tate. Also under pressure to do stuff they weren't happy with.

Coercion and aggression is something you might see once or twice every so often in a really obvious way. There was one relationship where we raised many concerns and the girl ended up pregnant and missed most of year 10 to have the baby.
That was a rare case, but the sorts of behaviours and signs are way more common, perhaps we look for it more? I’m more concerned it’s just normal. I think parents of kids that age regardless of gender need to be acutely aware of Tate et al.
Listening to him, it’s clear he lies and exaggerates massively to keep his rants on brand. But it’s clear a lot of insecure and underdeveloped audience members won’t differentiate that.
