Doesn't have a track record of getting things right. Omari is staying

Genuinely not sure why he would be so interested in being in the same situation in 12 months time with an asking price of even more money to recoup what Brentford are looking to pay. I think they'll really struggle next year. Yes it puts him in the shop window on the biggest stage, but not sure it will be enough for someone to part with 50/60m next season.

Of all the clubs in the Prem, a move to Brentford is probably the least appealing other than Burnley.

Sounds like they’re going to push hard.

Well if he's 40m now then another year of good performances in the Prem will easily add £10-20m

Truly impaired.

The 'won't sell until they've signed a replacement' bit sounds odd. We're really really well stocked in that department, surely? I would think that we either sell or we don't, depending on what bid materialises, and what Omari wants. But I can't see us being desperate to bring in someone else first. We have other priorities for the money I would think, and then in January we can assess whether that position really does need stacking further.

Having said that, if we do lose both Broadhead and Omari, we may feel we need to add one.

Probably not if you're from London.

Are we?

As a right 10 we have Szmodics and Chaplin - if we are getting PL ready players now then it's not hard to think we could look for an upgrade there.

On the right we have Ogbene coming off a horrific injury and looking understandably rusty and Burns coming off a horrific injury, not back for quite a while and will be equally rusty when he is. I wouldn't be adverse to a new player coming in there.

We would be fine without acquisitions in either role probably... but we'd be significantly weakened losing potentially the best player in the league... so it can only be a net loss and a backwards step not to sign someone.
