One of the really positive things from yesterday.
He looked excellent and up to speed.
Noticed his leadership too. When he came he seemed to lead by example on the pitch and seemed quite quiet. Yesterday he looked like he knows he's got to be one of the leaders this season. When Philogene went down at one point and was maybe making too much of it, it was Jens who gave him a bit of a gee up. He seemed more vocal to me. I wonder if KM has spoken to him about that.
Really would like to see him push himself to get up to the box where he can be a big part of attacking play.
The ball to Chappers was so good.

Far too good for this league, him and Azor are going to dominate most midfields this season.
Had to watch the first half on Rams tv yesterday they were both saying how good they were and dominating play.

First 10 minutes he struggled a little as tackles were flying in from all angles. However, he seemed to adapt to this and in my eyes put his best performance in. |  | | |

I wouldn’t say he was up to speed. Felt he disappeared in the second half, because he isn’t yet up to speed. That’s completely understandable given his lack of games.
Based on what I saw yesterday he’ll be excellent once he is as he clearly has the ability to break the lines, which will be critical if we’re going to break down low blocks like yesterday. | |
