Just noticed an interesting stat and quite an achievement

Also highlights the ups and downs of a club over the years . I remember one being at Meadow Lane with my Dad watching Notts County play Liverpool in the top flight !

When I were a lad, Notts County always made the Panini album. They were a big side. Jimmy Sirrell was the manager at one point - proper old school. Didn’t the have Howard Wilkinson as well?

And who can forget what looked like a Ponzi scheme that tried to pretend they were going to fund them to the top again? That caught a few out; Sven, Schmeichel jnr.

I think they also had Sven for an afternoon as manager or was that Sol Campbell….or both ?

With him now suffering with dementia it’s a lot harder to get him down to The Lane but I fully intend getting him down again sooner rather than later
