McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:05 - Sep 15 with 4418 views | ArnoldMoorhen | Nuno Espirito Santos is available right now! They would be mad to look past him, in my opinion. Straight in. Fired up. Already knows the League and his tactical scouts have been watching Prem matches over the last few years.
McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:06 - Sep 15 with 4408 views | portmanking | WTF? I'm not going to lie, if McKenna walks out on us in a few weeks' time, after making a song and dance about having a squad of players that are bought into the season, it would leave a sour, sour taste. Praying that's just his agent trying to keep his name relevant after a high-scoring win?! EDIT: Also, WTF are we doing allowing him to visit the Spammers' boardroom *if* true? McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:07 - Sep 15 with 4341 views | J2BLUE | I don't believe this so not throwing my toys out but if this is true and it was for talks then I hope he goes. It would be one too many for me. Palace, Brighton and then this. As I say, I don't believe this. He said he was all in and I may be naive but I believe he's here for the season.

McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:10 - Sep 15 with 4234 views | DarkBrandon | Doesn’t ring true to me. He might well have been there, but would you be so open about it, if anyone thought any move was imminent? Sounds more to me like all sides are keeping channels of communication open/networking. Plus as Joe says, it doesn’t seem like the right time for any of the parties
McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:12 - Sep 15 with 4155 views | TVRBlue | If he was there, could he not have been there as a guest of Tottenham for whom he used to work? Visiting clubs (Tottenham at West Ham in this case), are afforded a number of guest 'tickets' including in the directors area etc. Just a thought.
McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:13 - Sep 15 with 4117 views | _clive_baker_ | In itself its not much of a story that our manager would take a Premier League game in an hour down the A12, especially one involving his former club. I think 'spotted in the boardroom' is probably a bit clickbaity, not least because they've got a manager in situ and if they wanted to tap McKenna up they would be much more subtle about it that doing it at a game. Feels unlikely anyway that they would go for him. There are more proven alternatives out there who they could attract.

…..or he has friends at the spammers who invited him along to watch a football match 🤷🏻♂️
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

To be fair KM has plenty of friends in the game and it's probably just an innocent invite from someone, not that uncommon. You don't publicly show up in someone's directors' box when you're negotiating to take a job, particularly when you're already in one. I'm sure it does none of the parties any harm to keep an open line, and in reality that is how things work, but can't see much threat here.

Only wearing a jacket and jeans too, surely too cold to be out without a shirt and shoes?

McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:25 - Sep 15 with 3696 views | MattinLondon | I’d imagine that football is quite a small world to move in with managers and players etc knowing quite a lot of other people in that community. Bit of a non-story really.

Talk about adding 2+2 and coming up with 5! I am sure there is a perfectly innocent reason he was there. He has a lot of contacts in the game.

McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:25 - Sep 15 with 3666 views | bsw72 | Awesome non story. Managers visit other clubs regularly on match days. Have you seen the other click bait cr4p they publish on a daily basis.

McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 12:27 - Sep 15 with 3612 views | PioneerBlue | I would be a bit surprised if 1) he didn’t go a watch PL games from time to time, 2) he didn’t watch games versus Tottenham, 3) he wasn’t a manager of interest to West Ham, 4) he had to sit in cheap seats somewhere in the ground. He’s not going anywhere is he. Calm down.

Indeed, and id be massively surprised if Ole wasnt around the Portman Road corridors of power after the game as well. I'm absolutely sure this is a nothing story.

Not sure whether McKenna would be too up for another relegation battle (with no transfer window to tweak the squad), when he's just got everything nicely set up and starting to come together at Ipswich, having a more than decent chance of being a Prem Manager next season anyway.

That is the only thing that is worrying me. Posted by some random, i'd laugh it off. Posted by someone with form who at the very least hasn't been able to debunk it and that's a little different. Still don't think he would go...

McKenna reported to be in boardroom at West Ham yesterday on 13:06 - Sep 15 with 2737 views | SuffolkPunchFC | Shock horror - top manager goes to watch a PL game as part of his research, and due to being know / having relationships with others in the ‘industry’, gets shown some respect and has some chats with his peers whilst he’s there. Some of you lot will find anything to be anxious about.
