Not the best quality is it?
It’ll be so disappointing if we don’t finish in the top 2 as this really looks like the season to get something together. 1) there’s no standout side that looks capable of a 90+ point season and 2) it’s looking more likely than it has in a while than a promoted team or 2 could survive.

Harsh that. Just the rub of the green with a deflection falling perfectly for Stansfield. He had to make the most of it with a good pass and the run and finish was excellent too, but you can't prepare for random deflections. Teams are so organised now, that anything that falls outside of what you're ready for can cause you problems. That's part of the reason why KM likes someone who looks after the ball like McAteer, for example. You can't control random deflections, but you don't want to be giving the ball away needlessly either. | |
