The biggest issue we have which is very much a coaching issue/managment - why are we passing the ball around the back with seconds to spare/ why is every ball not being launched up and under for a flick on - even a defensive header out is likely to mean that players are going to be pulled out of position. It’s infuriating game after game we are in the attacking 3rd in injury time and we end up playing it back to the keeper. This is on McKenna and dara as this should not be allowed to happen. Numerous times we had a break away with 4 on 4 and again it ended up back at Walton - something is massively wrong. Disregarding the so so bad finishing, lack of pace, static movement, all of the at - how is this team one that’s being assembled for the premier league. It’s a team built for pessession football which we are not going to have in the premier league - take that away and what other strengths does this team have ? i see a lot of fairly talented players but not to the amounts spent on them but not a team and certainly not 1 that has any chance of doing well in the prem. | | | |
