Cape Verde 12:53 - Jan 31 with 753 viewsfarkenhell

Sorry to post this on a match day, but has anyone been to Cape Verde on holiday? Any experiences good or bad would be much appreciated. Also, tips/advice on things to do.

Thanks in advance.

Been to bith Sal and Boa Vista, Sal is better but not alot to do at both islands. Ideal if revovering from surhery ot just want to read a book by the pool. Had to good holidays but very low key. Did the Quad biked just to gey off the hotel, that was excellent. No shops, no where to realy walk, great hitels, low key holiday not for adrenalon junkies..

I toyed with CV for some winter sun but my son has some food allergies and I read a lot of complaints around food and sickness…appears to be a serious issue there, news just announced four Brits have died from food related sickness.

Only been to one island. I think it was Boa Vista. Not a lot there tbh. Took a tour around it. It’s very much an R&R destination. Stayed in a lovely climate, hotel, great food, very relaxing. But it’s a 6 hour flight for something you can find a lot closer (Canaries, Madeira) with more going for it.

In conclusion, we had a very nice time there and it’s good for a chill out.
