2 things from last night 15:00 - Apr 23 with 1175 viewsBobby

1) The Barnsleyesque Blue Army that went on throughout a long injury and then a while after that. Players really responded to that. It really is where us fans can help out when the boys need it.

2) The brilliantly awful corner we took, with no one in the box and 4/5 players staying back. Clearly unplanned and lots of flapping arms. lol.

2a) We always do it when it matters don't we. clinging onto that.

That corner was horrendous, attack can be the best form of defense sometimes, we just ended up putting pressure on ourselves. Gave me Stoke vibes....

Yup - a bit like a couple of the breakaways where we had overloads in time added on where we then ran it into the corner and lost the ball almost instantly. I think there's a difference between chucking everyone into an attack at that point and 2-3 attacking players taking advantage of a really good attacking position to try and score a third while everyone else stays in shape.

Poll: What % of our full potential are we currently playing at?

You wouldn't be saying that if they broke away and scored a late equaliser!

Ready! Steady! Cook!

Agree. We maintained possession didn't we? At least for 30 seconds or so?

Swinging the ball in is probably 50/50 that they clear and pick it up with a chance to attack.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

It was absolutely the right thing to do. Charlton were so unthreatening and we defended our box pretty comfortably really, I don't think they had a shot in the 2nd half. There was no need at all to commit men into the box for a stoppage time corner and give them a chance to counter, pointless.
