Nick Ames reporting that he wants to leave on a high. No problem with that, he’s fully earnt the right to go on his own terms.

I suspect if he felt the club could deliver a fighting chance of survival rather than a repeat of 24/25, he’d have been much more likely to stick around.

Also don’t think he will be out of the game for too long.

Although you could tell by some of hi post match interviews that he was a little hurt by some of the criticism aimed in his direction over the past season.

It wouldn't have taken much for some of the idiots to start turning on him if things didn't go well next season.
