A famous turtle conservationist has been killed in Lebanon. Her house was hit for the second time (first time was 2006) even though it's a clear civilian project and painted bright orange.

Turtles are one of the longest lineages still around, upwards of 220 million years. Hopefully when things settle down the conservation efforts will continue.

Clearly a turtle sympathiser and enabler of the terrorist turtle attacks on Israel. Presumably the turtles will be living in greater Israel in the next 220 million years.

Painted bright orange, right on the coast, not in a built up area where there may have been genuine military targets nearby.

Unambiguously a civilian charity, unambiguously a non-combatant, unambiguously a fairly high profile figure whose murder would attract attention.

Deliberate and not a mistake. No military strategic value other than purely to demonstrate "we can kill exactly who we like, when we like, and no rules of war will protect you". Deliberately killing civilians to spread fear amongst the populace is the definition of terrorism, isn't it?

So when is the UK Government going to proscribe the IDF as a terrorist organisation, rather than retired teachers holding cardboard?
