I guess he could still reject the offer, but he's the kind of player we should be in for to strengthen our defence. I'll obviously change my mind if it turns out they bid something ridiculous for him!
What we have done in midfield and attack is superb but the defence is still lacking, and could be the thing which lets us down this season. Three defenders who were part of the 2024/25 relegation squad still playing a key part is not a great place to be. |  |

Who is 20 years old and new to the division. We saw what happened with Egeli when we threw him in the deep end; the fans were against him by the end of the season. In a perfect world there won't be too much expectation or pressure on Ouattara this season. Playing him week in week out due to being one man down should not really be in our plans. | |

Most of those lived very close to the place they played at. Egeli came from abroad and needed to adapt so does Ouattara. They need to get used to their surroundings and the way things are done at English clubs. They need time. | | | |

Right back but I don't see him dropping O'Shea or playing Diop LCB either, so I am not 100% sure what he will do. | |
