| I know there’s a lot of negativity to the Premier League… 23:00 - Oct 19 with 1580 views | unstableblue | … seems to be a lot of people stating they’re losing interest. And are fed up with the commercialisation of everything. City’s charges and subsequent disregard for any rule of law a prime example. But for me this is shaping up into one hell of a season. In part because big clubs are struggling, but also that those middling clubs like Brentford and Brighton are excelling. Factor in two of the promoted sides doing well. And then many established clubs looking like they be relegation candidates - it just feels currently there are no dud matches. I’m enjoying it. I could watch Chelsea’s attack all week for one. And Town have a real chance of a memorable survival. | |

| I know there’s a lot of negativity to the Premier League… on 23:18 - Oct 19 with 1496 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | What is making the PL a better watch (apart from the team we support being competitive) is IMO the following: - Big 6 continue to buy the best players from the rest of the division. If you look at the starting line ups of, say Palace or Newcastle in 2024 compared to now, that's evident. All PL clubs are buying off each other, that is disrupting squads quite a bit. - Promoted Teams are now spending big, if the recruitment is good, that is making things a lot more interesting. Forest/Sunderland/Ipswich model now gives you a chance, compared to say, what Luton and Norwich used to do. - This year we have so many clubs with new managers as well. No chance all of those appointments go well. There were many years when no one could stop the top 4, nowadays, we wouldn't batter an eyelid at teams getting a result anywhere (outside of a couple of match ups). In short, we picked a good year to get promoted, I think. | |

I do think tho us being competitive makes all the difference If we were rock bottom i doubt many would feel so positive about the rest of the league

Is the PL perfect? We all know it isn't. Neither is anything else. I'd rather have my not perfect there than anywhere else.

If I had a choice between watching a Premier League game and a Championship game as a neutral I'm far more likely to choose the Championship game.

I get more excitement from watching the West Stand concourse progression than watching the Chelsea attacking line. It’s all relative.

If it's a top two clash in the Championship vs a relegation scrap in the PL, I'd agree. But I reckon you're choosing Chelsea vs Man City over Bristol City vs Watford.
