I was going to say it was down to really poor defending, and winning because Fulham are completely toothless up front and very shaky at the back but on reflection Villa are massive and deserve to be miles ahead.

I saw a Fulham player mouth "Oh fck off" when the goal went in.
I hope Villa aren't going to let the likes of him stop their ascension in English and European football.
