He’s done really well. But, Hackney was their stand-out player last season and he hasn’t exactly proven to be a good PL signing (so far).

i heard in March that we were very interested and he was likely to join us whatever division we were in. Think it might be one we regret pushing through longer term.

Worst case for boro someone potentially buys him for 25 million minimum with what they paid for him and clubs in the championship end up buying ala Rhodes if it doesn’t work in the prem.
