Town will be number four in this weekend's draw for the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup, which will be held during Sky’s Soccer Saturday from 12.20pm. The Blues are the only Football League side left in the competition.

It’s the first time in 10 years that Town have made it to a League Cup quarter-final, Manchester City having been beaten 2-1 after extra-time at Maine Road at the same stage in 2000/01. The game had to be rearranged after originally being abandoned due to heavy pre-match rain.

Quarter-final ties are scheduled to take place in the week commencing November 29th.

As much as i would like to see us get man utd (which i believe will happen as fate will bring roy against his old boys) i would also like to see us progress in the competition. they will all be tough games but i fancy us against wigan or west ham.

Obviously Arsenal or ManU is first choice (although we'll probably get WestHam) but bottom line is, we are in the Quarters and should enjoy the next game. Who knows, we could get to the Semi's, stranger things in Football have happened!
