Blues fourth-choice keeper Ian McLoughlin has joined Ryman League Premier Division Lowestoft Town on a month’s loan. The Republic of Ireland U19 international is set to make his debut in the Trawlermen’s FA Trophy game at Chippenham Town on Saturday.

McLoughlin, 19, is yet to make a first team appearance for Town, but has been on the bench on a number of occasions over the last couple of seasons.

Good luck to him. However we can afford the wages of four goalkeepers when money is tight is beyond me.

Mark, Townsend's (not intending to pick him out) mini bar and cable porn bill at the Salthouse will be less than this lad's wages
