QPR have confirmed that they have signed Town target Pascal Chimbonda. Yesterday afternoon Blues boss Paul Jewell revealed that he had made an enquiry regarding the 31-year-old right-back, who subsequently left Blackburn by mutual consent.

The one-time French international has signed a short-term contract which will keep him at Loftus Road until the end of the campaign.

Rangers manager Neil Warnock says he's delighted to add Chimbonda to his squad: "To get someone of Pascal's experience and quality at this stage of the season is a massive boost."

IF Jewell was in for him, he'll need to get used to these disappointments ... especially with Clegg in charge of negotiations!! In all seriousness though - who can blame Chimbonda - where would you go to? A team top of the league and odds on to get promoted or a team who look like they could go down? I hate to say it, but QPR have better players than us and a manager doing a great job. Easy decision I would have thought.
