![]() Monday, 26th Dec 2011 22:37 Crawley Town manager Steve Evans has revealed that the Blues have rejected an offer for midfielder Andy Drury. The 28-year-old returned from an unbeaten 93-day loan with the League Two leaders at the start of the week. The clubs were due to speak about Drury joining the Red Devils on a permanent basis earlier in the week but Evans says their “significant” bid was rebuffed: "As far as I am concerned that will be the end of the matter unless Ipswich have a change of mind. “The player has been superb for us and very importantly wants to be here. Let us hope things can be sorted out and Andy's real Christmas wish comes true." Drury, Paul Jewell’s first permanent Portman Road signing, joined Town from Luton a year ago for £150,000.
