Midfielder Lee Martin is on the shortlist for the Championship Player of the Month award for February.

The former Manchester United man has been hugely impressive since moving into a role behind main striker Michael Chopra.

The 25-year-old is up against Southampton’s 21-goal Championship top scorer Rickie Lambert and Reading keeper Adam Federici for the gong. The winner will be announced on Friday on Sky Sports News from 10am.
