N'Daw at Town Today
Thursday, 23rd Aug 2012 09:56

TWTD understands that St Etienne midfielder Guirane N'Daw is at Town today as discussions continue regarding his move to the Blues. N'Daw and his representative are understood to have been in talks at Town since flying to the UK yesterday afternoon.

French reports earlier this morning said the 28-year-old Senegalese international is close to completing a free transfer but with his current club receiving a percentage of any future sale.

If all goes well, N'Daw, who spent last season on loan with Birmingham, is likely to undergo a medical at Portman Road today and could be a Town player by the time the Blues travel to Blackpool on Saturday.

Yesterday, the French media reported that N'Daw, who is surplus to requirements at his current club, had been offered to the Blues, Charlton and Brighton.

Don't worry about Hyam, even signing Messi wouldn't put his place in the starting eleven under threat right now.

Agree with SWBlue86. Hyam and Luongo looking good but N'Daw would really add some steel. We mustn't forget that a) Luongo isn't even an Ipswich Town player and b) they are both young and will be unable to keep up this pace for a full season

Gives us something different, my only concern is who would you drop in CM or CB to put him in? Cant justify even putting him ahead of Drury in CM and at CB Chambers and Smith look solid. Any chance converting him to a winger or a striker? lol

IF he signs then maybe PJ will send the youngsters out on loan to L1 or L2 clubs which will be good for their development.
