Winter and Galvin hit a brace each in convincing win
Town hit Brentford for six with Tom Winter and Cory Galvin both bagging a brace, whilst Jonathan Leddy and Mark Timlin were also on the scoresheet.
Town had a great chance to take the lead in the 3rd minute with Kyle Hammond meeting David October's low ball across the box but he failed to capitalise on the opportunity, sending his shot well over the bar.
Blues took the lead in the tenth minute though, with Hammond picking out Winter with a great angled pass, with the winger taking a good first touch before sliding the ball past the 'keeper.
Town doubled their lead on the half hour mark. Winter then turned provider with a ball across the box into the path of Timlin, who tapped in at the far post.
The three points were secured ten minutes into the second half with Winter playing substitute Galvin through on goal, where he slid the ball under the 'keeper to get the third goal of the game.
Galvin got his second of the game in the 64th minute, with a neat finish into the bottom right corner.
Minutes later town were awarded a penalty with substitute Shaun Meikle being brought down. The midfielder stepped up to take but saw his tame effort saved by James Bransgrove.
Town kept the goals coming this time on a counter attack with Winter charging to the edge of the box to fire a shot across the goal in off the right post.
Town's third substitute played a part in the sixth goal with his shot being spilled onto the bar by Bransgrove with the linesman judging it to have bounced over the line with Winter following up for good measure.
Shortly after the referee blew for full-time with Town convincingly winning the game 6-0
