Keeper Crowe in Wales Squad Sunday, 20th Oct 2013 19:05 Blues keeper Michael Crowe has been called into the Wales U19 squad for a training camp in Spain this week. The Welsh youngsters, who are coached by former Town midfielder Geraint Williams, will play a game against a Malaga U19 XI on Wednesday. London-born Crowe, whose father is English and mother Norwegian, joined the Blues in the summer of 2012 from Kristiansand-based side IK Start, having been brought up in Norway. He qualifies for Wales through his grandmother. The 17-year-old, who was first called up by the Welsh U19s last season when he was a sub in a 3-0 friendly victory over Northern Ireland, is a second year academy scholar and signed a two-year professional contract earlier in the season. His only competitive involvement with the Town senior squad so far was a place on the bench at QPR. The camp and match are preparation for UEFA U19 Championship qualifiers in Georgia in November when they will face the hosts, Holland and Moldova.
