Final Game of Marriott's Loan Spell Postponed Wednesday, 1st Jan 2014 10:17 Woking's New Year's Day match at Salisbury City, the final game of Blues striker Jack Marriott's current loan spell with the Cards, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Marriott tweeted: "Gutted that the final game of my loan has been postponed, Woking is a fantastic club and the fans have been brilliant to me!"
Speaking yesterday, Town boss Mick McCarthy says the 19-year-old, who scored nine goals in nine while with the Skrill Premier side, will go back out on loan, either to Woking or ideally to a club at a higher level.
"I’d like him to get a Football League club but if that’s not the case, I’ll be on to Woking, I need to speak to them and he can stay there but we’ll see," he said. "If nothing happens he’ll just extend his loan.”

This is a great opportunity for Jack to feature in the Preston game, playing against a league one side, we can see where he's at. Obviously Mick wants to send him out on loan to a team with higher credentials than Woking, so why not see what he's like up against League one opposition, whether that be starting the game or coming off the bench!

ipswichjames- a very good point. If he really is as good as everyone is saying why not give 25 minutes against good opposition. I think from what little I have seen of him he is & there seems little point in him playing at Woking's level. the sooner he plays against decent defenders the sooner he will mature.

Sheff Utd in desperate need of a striker. He'd do well at Brammal Lane for a couple of months.

If he played against Preston mm would have difficulty in justifying sending him out on loan imo
