A winger, my god! He'll never get in the team unless he can play midfield, or has been said, right back. How will McCarthy fit a winger in? What will happen if he can actually beat a man and get a cross in? The crowd however small maybe on the edge of their seats!

You will never get in that side unless your on loan...Or at least 30 years old. The whole youth team system is a shambles. McCarthy OUT !!!!!!!!

cloddyseedbed - mick has showed many times in the past that he likes playing with pacey wingers who can get a cross in, but the simple fact is we don't have any at the moment...surely the fact we're trialing some is a good thing?

104 - didn't we only have 1 loan player playing against blackpool, and only 3 over 30?

bluemikey100 - we're the 7th top scoring side in the division, with the majority of our goals coming from our strikers, and we recently signed a 27 year old striker who was the championship top scorer for two years running...

Londonben, you should get a job in the publicity dept at Portman Road. If we didn't keep signing midfielders that are virtually all the same in how they play we might have been able to sign a pacey winger! The football is dire and with Evans putting no more money in I can not see it changing!

You are so right we did only have 1 loan player and 3 over 30 but that's the way it's been all season...More worried about the 30 yr olds who have been there and done that and on a top wage than worrying about our disapearing youth system....McCarthy OUT !!!!!
