Berra Withdrawn From Scotland Squad Wednesday, 3rd Sep 2014 11:08 Town have confirmed that centre-half Christophe Berra has been withdrawn from the Scotland squad facing World Cup holders Germany in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier in Dortmund on Sunday. Manager Mick McCarthy revealed that the Blues’ three-goal top scorer was suffering with a sore knee following Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Derby County. Berra tweeted: "Gutted to have pulled out of Scotland squad but I wish them all the best on Sunday. Injection done, now rest for a few days."
