A half-season ticket in the lower tier of the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand costs £271 for an adult, £189 for a senior citizen, student or disabled supporter, £149 for under-20s and £113 for under-16s, while an under-11s half-season ticket is available at £10. Full prices here.

Meanwhile, additional matchday tickets for the away game at Charlton on Saturday 29th November are now on sale (KO 12.15pm).

What a joke! It will be cheaper to buy 12 match tickets.

I was unfortunate enough to work most Saturdays so i didn't get a season ticket this season but i have just switched jobs so i am able to go now so if someone could answer this it'd be great. I am 20 so would i be eligible for the U20's Ticket?

Cheers
Callum

What a disappointment £200 for lower tiers would have been reasonable and would gain few thousand more

At those prices it's hardly encouraging people to get a season ticket.

And Callum, no... You're not under 20.

Yep. Half season ticket for 70% of the price of a full one. A bargain!

Too expensive. As others have said, about £200 would've been right.

@Callum further to Ipswich Royal's post you may well be eligible.

If you were 19 before 1st September you are eligible for this price.

This is typical of the club management - MM TC and the team are doing the business on the pitch and the back room staff come up with this. I'll be interested to know how many if any people take this"offer" up.

Half a season should be half the price thats just logic, have to question this one

I checked back and the half-season ticket is indeed half the price of a full season ticket, allowing for there being 12/23 games to go. It isn't, of course, applied to the early bird price. If anyone gets a half season ticket, they can pay by interest free DD for the rest of the season, and of course will be eligible to buy at the early bird price for next season. (Indeed, I expect they'll just amend / drop the DD amount).

I decided not to get a season ticket this year. Early bird price was 319. For all 23 matches.
Was seriously considering a ticket this year, but won't be now. Big of an own goal on this one me thinks. Come on town. Sort it out!!!

It's a really poor business decision yet again.

I was hooked in on a half season ticket 17 years ago and still here despite the Keane/Jewell wasted years.

Be lucky if they hook 100 at that price , whereas at £199 probably more like 300-400.

Having two friends who have worked for ME at management level and having met him personally , I sometimes struggle to see how he's made his money.Let's hope they prove us wrong and the clubs' stock rockets on the back of MM & TC's genius .

COYB!!!!

I've been to 5 home games this season ....as many as I could due to work commitments.
I was seriously considering getting a half season ticket with a couple of friends but not at these prices. There is no incentive. Poor decision from the club as a good deal would see maybe 1000-2000 extra regulars.
I hope the club reassess this but my gut feeling is they won't.

Perhaps a few more posts from people in a similar situation may make a difference!!!

Its cheap what are you all moaning about you could be part of something special, get out of your arm chairs and support the team.

Earlybird was £399 requiring commitment last March. Why would you expect to pay half that now? It's a good deal and great times.

What is wrong with people? It works out as £22.60 a game. Why an earth people buying now think they should expect to get a better season ticket rate than those who paid the early bird price in the early summer is beyond me.

NITFC added 22:42 - Nov 11
I do think that it should have been cheaper. However, for the same reason they can't have too many £10 promotions per season, they must not alienate the existing season ticket holders by making it cheaper than we paid at the start of the season
3

flashblue added 22:53 - Nov 11
Doesn't need to be cheaper than the start of the season, just the same price. Most season ticket holders couldn't give a toss if new season ticket holders get the same deal, and even if they do care, so what? The objective is to get more people onto that direct debit.

TractorBeezer added 23:42 - Nov 11
Buying tickets now will be based on knowing that we are in the hunt and are playing entertaining football versus being uninformed preseason. Sounds like a reasonable offer at 22 pounds per game.

NSL added 12:41 - Nov 12
As a ST holder I couldn't care less if the new half-season ticket was even better value than an early bird full season ticket. I just want to see a full ground and experience a decent atmosphere which will be like having a new signing to push us toward glory. 'The 12th man'. COME ON - WHERE ARE YOU - LETS BE 'AVIN YOU!!!!! ;-)
