Former Blue Trotter Joins Forest in Time to Face Town
Saturday, 24th Oct 2015 12:01

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of former Town midfielder Liam Trotter on a month’s loan from Bolton in time to be eligible for this afternoon’s game against the Blues at the City Ground.

Ipswich-born Trotter, 27, was an academy player with the Blues - he was in the 2005 Youth Cup-winning side - and made 18 starts ad eight sub appearances for Town before moving on to Millwall in 2010 following a loan spell.

Trotter’s only appearance for Bolton this season was as an 89th minute sub against Derby on the opening day.

Great. So far this month we've had Jordan Rhodes and Alex Bruce. Today put your money on Williams and Trotter.

Trotter, Garvin, Danny Haynes and Billy Clarke. Despite all the millions Keane, Jewell and to a point Jim, that's still our most balanced midfield we had in a long long time.
