Town Announce Norwich Ticketing
Wednesday, 3rd Aug 2016 10:20

Town have announced ticketing details for the derby against Norwich City at Portman Road on Sunday 21st August (KO midday).

Tickets for the game, which is being shown live on Sky, will go on sale from Thursday 4th August to Platinum members from 9am and then Silver members from midday.

Gold members can buy their tickets from 9am on Friday 5th August, with season ticket holders able to purchase additional tickets from 9am on Saturday 6th August. Any remaining seats will go on general sale on Tuesday 9th August from 9am.

Fans will be entitled to purchase the standard ticket quantities at each priority stage, while those buying seats on general sale will need to have bought home match tickets from Town at some stage over the last 10 seasons. There will be no matchday ticket sales for either home or away fans.

Due to a minor change to seating arrangements for safety reasons, a small number of Cobbold Stand upper tier season ticket holders will move for the game and will be contacted by the club.

Meanwhile, we understand the ongoing discussions between the club, the police, local authorities and the other emergency services regarding future policing at Portman Road have now been resolved and there will be the usual police presence at the derby game.

Would love to see us move for the two Everton players left off their squad list.

Luke Garbutt and Conor Mcaleny striker and left back... Under 25 and a good pedigree and great return from both at their loan clubs last season.

Make it happen Mick And Marcus!!

It's a shame they don't offer Norwich more tickets, because we won't sell them. They should have the whole of the Cobbold as in cup games.

the 8th is Monday not Tuesday so is it the 8th or the 9th for general sale?

Actually flashblue it's a shame we offer them any tickets at all, seeing just one spoils my day.

You may have gotten loads of down arrows Flashblue but you're right, we're very unlikely to sell out ( sadly ) and they should have probably been given a slightly bigger allocation.

I assume the potential sell out will be lower than before reading some season ticket holders are being moved. Shame.

Hmmm! We should be concentrating on sell-out strategies of our own, not handing more tickets to the contemptible yellows: Thirty thousand at PR, the contemptibles shouting abuse, and Mighty Jim Magilton taking an "illegal" corner right in front of their noses just to piss them off - TWTD! -:) (I seem to remember we lost however!)

It's a con, season ticket holders should get priority over anyone who has membership cards of any colour but as others have said we won't sell out so it doesn't really matter besides I shall be sunning myself in Malta

Well said bluebare how come silver comes before gold. In the Olympics if you come first you get a Gold medal and second you get a Silver medal!

Has anyone else in Cobbold E block been contacted yet, if not talk to the ticket office quick. All season ticket holders up till past the halfway line are being moved, conversation with them was entertaining about elf & safety & police requests......

Way too much outright Zzzilly hating ... most of it just for the sake of hating!!! .... towards them pitiful "disorientated" little yellow Canaries for my personal liking.
Yep I don't exactly light a candle for them myself each night before turning in, either! ... but ehhhh whatever ehhhh became of ehhhh "adhering to" the still rocking good ol' holy book of Christianity, and specifically Matthew 22:36-40 "THOU SHALL LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELFf"??? :-) :-) :-) :-)

WOW! Only 3 down-votes (thus far) to my 1st post on this page??? Personally I had calculated with around a couple of hundreds by now! lol Hmmmm seems like there in fact is as a majority of "considerate" human beings among the ITFC fans after all? :-)

@afrodids: ??? Like with so many of TWTD's inquisitorial "serial down-voters" (like @Elto for instance), HUMOR & SARCASM as well as the significance of added emoticons especially the smiling types, seems utterly & completely lost on you too my good man/woman ehhh???
I guess you also refer to people like David Tynan O'Mahony -- better known as Dave Allen -- the famous Irish comedian and Religious Skeptic (or in Allen's own words: "I'm what you might call a practicing atheist") as a member of the so called "Godsquad"??? lol .... You see @afrodids exactly like the late mr. Allen I'm actually also an Atheist, and has publicly referred to myself as such for more than 3 decades!

@elto: PleaZzze dear Elto PleaZzze!!! lol Sooo who is it exactly that I "slate" (or unequivocally "hate" on) here according to you (examples pleaZzze!!!) ... with the POSSIBLE exception of you and similar pathetic life-lacking inquisitorial serial down-voters as you of course??? lol If you are thinking of my frequent anti-MM posts, oh so sorry mate I don't EVEN "hate" Mick the Dinosaur! Rather I seriously DISLIKE him (and therein lies a strong difference!!!) ... with a passion .... but always sprinkled with a truck-load of sarcasm on top!!! Naaaah and I don't even hate on you Elto and your lot, as even that is beneath me! You see I very very very seldom involve myself with "hate" or "hate-mongering" of ANYONE ... not even on my conniving 1st wife who not only seriously ripped me off but also ran away with the equivalent of the Postman!!! :-) As from a very early age I have found the concept of HATE to be a distinctively repulsive and very potentially destructive as well as self-destructive "quality" in Man ........... And in this regard I can fittingly quote the by then semi-deranged Richard M. Nixon, who of course was a contemporary of Dave Allen incl. on most English speaking countries tv-sets, from his famous resignation-speech at The White House: "ALWAYS REMEMBER, OTHERS MAY HATE YOU BUT THOSE WHO HATE YOU DON'T WIN UNLESS YOU HATE THEM, AND THEN YOU DESTROY YOURSELF!"

@tractorboy1985: It's that really the best mocking reply you can come up with??? lol Well I'm an awful LOT om things tractorboy, but "boring" certainly isn't one of them! .... and to the best of my recollection I've in fact never ever been called "boring" by people who really knew or know me well on a personal level!
Which finally brings me around to "Today's ever soooo boring Trivia": what is the very best known correlative to Matthew 22:36-40 ... and by whom??? HeHeHeHe

Well it's by our very own mr. "smartaZzz" (read: philosopher etc. etc.) Sir Francis Bacon of course!
