Supple on Life's a Pitch Friday, 11th Nov 2016 21:23 Former Blues keeper Shane Supple will be talking to the regulars on Life’s a Pitch at lunchtime on Saturday on BBC Radio Suffolk (midday to 2pm). Host Mark Murphy will also be joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie, New Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham. Supple famously retired from professional football aged only 22 years old in 2009, but joined League of Ireland side Bohemians this summer, while also continuing to play Gaelic football for his parish side St Brigids. The Dubliner has also just launched 4ThePitch, a supplier of soccer and GAA goalkeeper gloves and clothing. Shane and the regulars will look ahead to the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Austria in Vienna later in the evening, in which David McGoldrick could feature. The England-Scotland game will also come under discussion as will Town’s 2-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. Is the win at Hillsborough a sign of Town’s season getting back on track? Give us your thoughts on that question or anything else via email, Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK. The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and also now on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
